18-Apr-2005 -- After the successful visit to 46°N 123°W yesterday evening I stayed overnight in Hillsboro, then met up with some friends there for breakfast and lunch.
Afterwards I got back onto I5, straight south to exit 260B in Salem: Taking this exit, then going across the intersection and directly onto the ramp leading back onto I5 south, is the only way to get to this confluence, since it is located in the middle of the onramp.
I had very nice weather at this point, and excellent GPS reception (10-11 satellites, plus WAAS coverage), so the EPE numbers got down to the 7-12 feet range most of the day.
I had to wait for a gap in the traffic, then run across the ramp while trying to get a picture of the GPS as it passed through the all-zero condition. I did this about 5 times as the track log shows.
Afterwards I went on to 45°N 124°W
